I am really enjoying this photography challenge. I am using my phone's camera for these assignments. I know some people might cringe, but until I get a Nikon or Canon, this will have to do. So far, so good, in my opinion. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of crisp focus and I love how easy it is to upload the pictures.
*Disclaimer* A lot of the photos this week were taken on a different day than actually scheduled. Being gone for a fun vacation got me a little mixed up, but I managed to get them all done this week.
With no further ado.......
June 1: Self Portrait:
I took this in a mirror, which is reflecting 2 other mirrors, then, I added an "overexposed" effect.
June 2: Favorite Shoes
I LOVE these shoes. I chose to do a close-up shot so you can see the detail in the flower.
I guess you are never too young to appreciate cute shoes, because this evening I got a compliment on them from a toddler. :)

June 3: Hands
Dupree and Brittney saying their vows. There is a slight reflection off her dress,
but I like the reason for this photo. :)
June 4: Clouds
Can you believe this picture was taken through our windshield. This camera rocks!
June 5: My breakfast
Turkey bacon, cheese and coffee. Sadly, I only remembered to bring the coffee to school with me. :(
June 6: Books
Had to be done....it's the kindergarten teacher in me.
June 7: High Angle
I thought and thought about what subject I wanted for this picture.
I finally decided on this gorgeous tin candle. I love the details on the bowl part and
how the flame is reflecting in the melted wax. I added a "vintage" effect to mimic burnt edges.
I am excited to see where this challenge leads.
Feel free to join in, if you haven't already!

Love the pics--especially the book one--ha
